This work deals with the design, modelling, and evaluating key performance indicators of a process to upgrade biogas from an existing waste-to-energy plant located in Spain through bio-methanation using renewable hydrogen produced via electrolysis. The achieved results will be used as a basis for techno-economic and environmental assessment.
