In-depth presentation of the study on industrial outlook for advanced biofuels
Synthesis: matching advanced biofuels demand with foreseen production capacity and biomass availability, critical issues and recommendations.
Short Introductive summary
The presentation will provide insight in potential gaps between the projected EU advanced biofuels demand and foreseen production capacity and shows a possible way to fill these gaps, considering among others biomass availability. Preconditions and critical issues to ramp up advanced biofuels capacity will be highlighted, as well as the possible role of RFNBOs. Finally, recommendations to promote advanced biofuels roll-out will be provided.

Presenter's biography
Martijn Vis is a senior consultant at BTG Biomass Technology Group B.V. covering technical and sustainability issues of biomass use. He is coordinator of the "Study on the optimized cascading use of wood" for the European Commission.
