Biography
Michael Brandkamp is the Founder and General Partner of the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF). Michael and his team’s goal is to speed up the transformation from a fossil-based to a bio-based economy in Europe. The German entrepreneur wrote the business plan for the founding of High-Tech Gründerfonds, a semi-public venture capital fund that invests in innovative technologies and business models, back in 2005. He managed the company until the end of 2020. Brandkamp has 24 years of experience in the fields of investment and management in the venture capital industry.
