Phyllis 2: The Open Access Database for Biomass Properties
Short Introductive summary
The EU project BRISK II aims to assist the transition to the biobased economy in Europe. BRISK II is a joint effort of 15 partners, across 11 EU countries and comprising a total of 46 installations. One of the important outcomes of this project is the upgrading and extension of Phyllis 2, one of the largest Biomass Properties Databases worldwide currently including over 3000 datasets. Phyllis 2 is a powerful, open access search tool to get first insights into properties of a wide range of biobased feedstocks (www.phyllis.nl).

Presenter's biography
Working in the field of biomass and waste gasification as Project Manager and Researcher for more than 15 years. Joined TNO, after obtaining his PhD degree at TU Eindhoven (the Netherlands) in 2012. Directly involved in several national, international and business oriented projects.
