Short introductive summary: Impact of Alternative Transport Fuel Properties on Engine Performance

Advanced biofuels have a strong potential in contribution towards sustainable transportation. Therefore, this study investigates the impact of alternative fuel properties on engine performance and carbon dioxide emissions of the current fleet of vehicles. Based on the measured values, data-driven black-box modeling has been applied to develop novel models for various engine types. Proposed models represent the end-use performance of alternative transport fuels and are dedicated to decision-makers to support the commercialization of those fuels. This work is part of the AdvanceFuel EU project under the Horizon 2020 framework.
