Biomass resources and potential (II)

Suitability Study of Biogas Plant Establishment based on Agroecological Symbiosis (AES) Concept in Lake Regions of Finland

Short Introductive summary

The research idea is to assess the suitability of biogas plant establishment depending on the agricultural biomass availability in the lake regions of Finland. The study is based on the agroecological symbiosis (AES) concept. We expect to create different thematic maps of maximum feed transport distance, average transport cost of input, maximum transport distance of the digestate depending on different energy production capacity such as 2.5, 5 and 10 GWh/a.
