Environmental Assessment of Process to Valorize Sargassum in the Caribbean

Short Introductive summary

The main problem with the valorization of Sargassum in the Caribbean is recalcitrance. In our team work we apply an oxidative process to reduce the percentage of recalcitrance in Sargassum biomass. Therefore in this work proposal we evaluate the environmental impact of the oxidative process using software developed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, to considarete this treatment to valorize Sargassum biomass.
