Fostering Sustainable Development with Data: from Resources to Green Fuels
Short Introductive summary
Identifying where efforts and funds need to be invested to have the most significant environmental impact at the lowest cost is challenging but critical. Therefore, IT tools and methodologies are being developed to help analyze the most promising projects to develop and finance. These tools include extensive databases of past R&D projects, economic and environmental analyses conducted by reputable international laboratories, and resource geolocation for potential petroleum product replacements. Multi-variable analyses, such as yields, investment requirements, employee numbers, technology impact on power grids, operational concerns, and environmental impact, are conducted based on these data. Valuable insights have been gained regarding sustainable aviation fuel production and combined heat and power. Our primary objective is to introduce the prototype tool we are currently working on, show its capabilities, showcase its potential usefulness, and outline future development possibilities. We are also keen on fostering collaboration for more comprehensive data and analyses.
