Combustion of Vapours from Pyrolysis of Residual Forest Biomass in a Pilot-scale Auger Reactor: Process Analysis and Gaseous Emissions.

Short Introductive summary

In this work is characterised the combustion of pyrolysis vapours produced during pyrolysis of RFB in a pilot-scale auger reactor, with biomass procssing capacity of up to 10 kg/h. The goal of the work is to get information to support the further development and up-scale of an integrated system composed of a pyrolysis auger reactor integrated with a combustion reactor for pyrolysis vapours burning to generate the thermal energy for the pyrolysis process.
