Ecosystem Services of Compost Application on Sunflower: Effect on Soil-Plant-Pollinator Loop
Short Introductive summary
The relationship among soil properties and nectar composition and flower parameters is not completely understood. In the present study, the specific relationship mentioned above has been investigated testing a sunflower “high oleic” hybrid variety in a field experiment using different soil treatments during three-year trial. The experimental field was set up at CREA-IT of Treviglio (Bergamo, Italy) (45?31017.1800 N; 09?33050.8200 E) in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
