Distribution of Phosphorus and Nitrogen During Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTLl) of Municipal Sewage Sludge - Effect of Catalyst and Feedstock Used
Short Introductive summary
presenting preliminary results of an experimental HTL campaign (24 tests) of two different sewage sludge, in the presence of homogeneous (4) and heterogeneous (7) catalysts, enabling the investigation of the coupled effects of sludge properties and catalyst type on the distribution of phosphorus and nitrogen in HTL fractions. Exploring the potential of non-oil HTL products while continuing the original concept of thermochemical conversion of sewage sludge to bio-oil is in line with the idea of the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition and the concept of circular economy.
