Synthetic fuels from biomass and hydrogen

Two-stage Approach to Use Waste from the Sugar and Alcohol Industry as Co-substrates for Sequential Rroduction of H2 and CH4

Short Introductive summary

The aim of this study was to optimize the co-digestion of waste from the sugar-alcohol industry: sugarcane bagasse (SCB), filter cake (FC) and vinasse, in order to reduce the addition of synthetic nutrients required for the biological digestion into hydrogen (H2) and methane (CH4).
