Gasification of Wood Packaging Waste, Gas Combustion Feasibility and Non-Intrusive Thermometry of Premixed Syngas Flames

The proposed work presents a comprehensive investigation of the gasification of wood packaging waste and the combustion of the derived producer gas. This research provides detailed results in terms of experimental flammability tests involving both producer gas from the gasifier and CH4/gas mixtures.

Professor in Thermal Engineering and Industrial Energy Systems at the Free University of Bolzano (Italy). M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Director of the Energy Engineering Master and Head of the Bioenergy&Biofuel Lab. His main research field is thermochemical conversion of biomass.
