Innovative production of bioproducts and biochemicals for industrial applications (2)
Production of Biocarbon as Coking Coal Replacement using a 1 ton/d Flexible Counter Flow Multi Baffle (F-COMB) Reactor
Short Introductive summary
KIER has been developing a biocarbon reactor called Flexible Counter flOw Multi-Baffle (F-COMB). It provides efficient contact of the feedstock and hot gas, via vortex mixing in the multi-baffle column structure and therefore the reaction can be completed within 15 min.
