Unraveling Bioenergy Land Conversion Dynamics and Their Interplay with Carbon Storage and Biodiversity Constraints: The Interest Rate Matters

Short Introductive summary

The overall aim of this paper is to explore the global potential for growing bioenergy crops, particularly lignocellulosic varieties. We aim to identify locations around the world where agricultural land is most promising for conversion to bioenergy crop production. To achieve this, our analysis encompasses three critical dimensions: global farmland prices, global carbon storage levels, and biodiversity intactness index.
