Innovative biomass production for energy integrated into traditional agri-forestry systems

Technical and Energy Evaluation of Different Sustainable Agricultural Resources in the Agrovoltaic Sector in a Circular Economy Approach

Short Introductive summary

The energy requirement from non-fossil sources represents a need that is no longer negligible regardless of the present agricultural reality. Intensive agriculture leads to a progressive impoverishment of the territory and integration with photovoltaics represents an important opportunity for the entire agroenergy sector. The identified path allows the integration between energy production, management of by-products and agricultural production differentiated according to the nature and methods of the technical means managed. The progressive and targeted adoption of agro-industrial by-products from a circular economy perspective represents an important opportunity for the relaunch of the supply chain.
