Presenter's biography

Dr Carlos Martín is an Agricultural engineer and PhD researcher with experience in consultancy services and in teaching as assistant professor at the university. Since 2017, he works as researcher at the Biomass Unit of CEDER-CIEMAT, a Spanish public research centre. His main areas of interest are the assessment of sustainability of bio-economy value chains from a life cycle perspective, the assessment and mapping of biomass resources and the development and validation of sustainable schemes for the cultivation of industrial crops as source of biomass for the bio-industry. He is currently working on these topics in EU funded projects such as BeonNAT and MIDAS.
