Co-Pyrolysis of Cotton Stalk and Cooked Food Waste for Production of Enhanced Biodiesel Range Compounds
Short Introductive summary
I am currently Professor and Head in Department of Chemical Engineering at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNIoE), Delhi NCR. Prior to that, I did my PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. Additionally, I did my masters (MS) from University of Washington, Seattle, USA. I mainly work in the area of thermochemical conversion of biomass for producing bioenergy in different forms including biodiesel via pyrolysis, hydrogen rich syngas via gasification, and biochar via torrefaction. I have published more than 50 papers in top rated journals in these areas and presented papers in different conference across various countries. In recent times, my work on direct biodiesel production from solid feedstock has been widely acclaimed as it’s the only other method to produce biodiesel apart from transesterification process.
