Integrated agricultural management practices - A contribution to sustainability
Multi-Model Based Selection Criteria for Decarbonizing the Atmosphere through Carbon Sequestration by Maize Hybrids
Short Introductive summary
The present investigation, entitled “Multi-Model Based Selection Criteria for Decarbonizing the Atmosphere through Carbon Sequestration by Maize Hybrids,” was conducted to identify maize hybrids that can effectively combine high carbon sequestration potential with high productivity. This study revealed that all models confirmed the reliability, reproducibility and robustness of the multi-model selection framework for isolation of best hybrids. The identified hybrids demonstrates strong potential for large-scale deployment in sustainable climate-smart agriculture systems. By combining higher carbon sequestration with superior productivity, these hybrids contribute to agricultural decarbonization, aligning with global efforts toward carbon neutrality and sustainable food production.
