Biomass conversion into bio-based chemicals and high-value compounds (part 2)
From Laboratory to Field in the Process of Biomethanol Production from Landfill Biogas: Technical, Economic and Environmental Evaluation
Short Introductive summary
Biogas, a renewable energy source primarily composed of methane and carbon dioxide, offers significant potential for sustainable production of chemicals and green energy. This project focuses on converting biogas into biomethanol, a versatile chemical and fuel with industrial and fuel applications. The research integrates experiments, technoeconomic studies and industrial landfill application to optimize the conversion process and scale it up to a real-life scenario.
