SEMPRE-BIO Projects: Comparison of Three Innovative Scaled-Up and Optimised Technologies For Biomethane Production and Its Purification
Short Introductive summary
The abstract presents three innovative technologies for biomethane production and purification. The three technologies have been piloted and tested within the Horizon Europe Program through the SEMPRE-BIO project. The works will introduce the three technologies, how they have been scaled up and optimised. The analysis will present also different case studies that we performed to establish the robustness and KPIs of the technologies under different loads and operational points. Finally, the optimal process layouts will be compared to show the advantages and potential of each technology in the energy transition framework.
