How the Thermochemical Route for Biofuels Production Can Be Turned Into A Very Flexible Way To Meet the Transportation Challenge of Next Decades
Short Introductive summary
The performances of an innovative process scheme involving fine-tuned catalysts are presented in this study. This scheme allows upgrading of low temperature Fischer-Tropsch products obtained in a BTL or XTL (e-fuel) production chain. It demonstrates our ability to produce the entire range of biofuels required by the market for the next years with high yields whatever the production mode selected: more than 80% for SAF or more than 80% for Diesel. The products properties were all analysed and are fitting specifications.

Presenter's biography
Graduated from ENSCP ParisTech and earned a PhD in Heterogeneous Catalysis. His research encompasses a comprehensive study of FT and its upgrading steps within the frameworks of BTL and e-fuels processes. Currently, he serves at IFPEN as the group leader for Metal-Catalyzed Processes.
