From Challenge to Opportunity: Industrial Perspective on Microalgal-Based SAF
Short Introductive summary
The results obtained from market analysis of microalgae based SAF are presented. Emphasis is placed on the industry perspective in order to identify bottlenecks to industrial production and develop a roadmap for meaningful improvements. This analysis is supported by a targeted questionnaire designed to capture both measurable and non-measurable metrics, including standards, concerns, and suggestions for improvement. The findings described in this work, combined with LCA analysis preliminary results regarding energy intensive steps and tools that support the diversified portfolio hopefully will become a basis for other studies to follow in order to promote the sustainable future of SAF
