Innovation in advanced processes for biofuels production: materials, mechanisms, and performances (part 2)
Optimization Of Biobutanol Production From Glycerol Using Isolated Clostridium Sp. C13
Short Introductive summary
Glycerol presents a high-value substrate for microbial conversion given its substantial abundance due to the global biodiesel production trend. This study successfully attempted to enhance butanol concentration by employing a promising newly isolated strain, screening a diverse set of suitable medium formulations, and determining the optimal initial glycerol concentration for fermentation.
