Short Introductive summary

The HTU® Process for the hydrothermal conversion of wet biomass residues is a very promising technology for the processing of wet organic residues. By efficiently converting manure into green bitumen and mineral concentrates, this technology not only provides sustainable alternatives to fossil-based products but also contributes to lowering the environmental impact associated with traditional manure management and fertilizer production. The great potential for upscaling promises a substantial contribution to a solution for the Dutch nitrogen crisis and the sustainable road construction commitments well before 2035.
