Luis Velazquez-Araque, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Guayaquil. His research integrates bioenergy, thermochemical conversion and biomass pelletization with fluid mechanics modeling to analyze microplastic transport in estuarine systems, advancing circular bioeconomy strategies.
