Biography
Kjell Andersson is policy director at Svebio, Swedish Bioenergy Association, and chairperson of Bioenergy Europe’s working group sustainability. Svebio is Europe’s oldest dedicated bioenergy association, founded in 1980, with around 250 member companies active in the whole bioenergy supply chain, but primarily in biomass from forests. Kjell Andersson has been engaged in issues concerning carbon pricing. Sweden has the world's highest carbon tax, introduced in 1991, and today at 120 euro/ton CO2 for all sectors outside EU-ETS.
