Biography
Mr. Sanjay Ganjoo is the Director General of the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE), an apex industry body promoting clean and sustainable energy. He has led initiatives in biofuels, waste-to-energy, and electric mobility, and has organized several key national and international conferences on green energy. Previously, Mr. Ganjoo spent 13 years at FICCI, India's leading business chamber, rising to Director, Trade Fairs. He worked across diverse sectors including power, telecom, defense, health, and aviation, and represented India at major global forums. He played a central role in high-profile events such as Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas, Vibrant Gujarat, Aero India, and India Chem. He also served as CEO and later Chairman of Bhaskar Foundation, the CSR arm of Dainik Bhaskar Group. Under his leadership, the Foundation implemented large-scale programs in skill development, rural development, healthcare, and education, training over 100,000 rural youth. Mr. Ganjoo has held leadership roles in organizations like PIOCCI, IIM Jammu, and CAPART (Govt of India). He holds an M.Sc. in Statistics from Kashmir University and is a frequent speaker at national and international platforms.
