Biography
Dr. Gaurav Mishra is Scientist F and Senior Director at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India Dr. Gaurav Mishra plays a key role in advancing the country's bioenergy agenda. Based at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan, he specializes in renewable energy development with a focus on bioenergy, waste-to-energy, biofuels, and biomass solutions for MSME decarbonization. In his role within the Bioenergy Division, he contributes to the implementation of the National Bioenergy Programme, leads initiatives to strengthen India's bioenergy manufacturing ecosystem, and actively promotes the adoption of biomass technologies for industrial heat and steam through close industry collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
