Biography

Chris Malins is the founder of Cerulogy, an independent consultancy providing datadriven analysis on alternative fuels policy and sustainability to clients in business, government and civil society on both sides of the Atlantic. Chris has been working on issues around alternative fuels since joining the UK’s Renewable Fuels Agency as its communications lead in 2008, and subsequently spent six years leading the fuels team of the International Council on Clean Transportation. Chris’ work areas include biomass availability, the indirect effects of biofuel use, the LCA of fossil fuels and development of effective policy instruments for the advanced alternative fuel industry. He holds a doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the University of Sheffield.
