Biography
Lorenzo Maggioni, freelancer - biomethane expert. He received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Agriculture of Milan. He is an expert of the biomethane sector and he has an excellent knowledge of multifunctional agriculture and, in particular, of the production of energy from renewable sources. From 2011 to 2023 he was Head of Research and Development of CIB - Consorzio Italiano Biogas where he led several European funded projects (GreenGasGrids, BIOSURF, ISAAC, etc.). Nowadays he works as a senior consultant for some important companies operating in the biogas and biomethane sector. Every year he participates as a speaker at numerous international conferences and workshops.
