Biography
Dr. John Chi-Wei Lan is a Professor at Yuan Ze University and President of BEST, Taiwan. A Birmingham Ph.D., his research focuses on biorefineries and circular bioeconomy. With an h-index of 33 and the 2025 Y.S. Hsu Chair Award, he bridges academia and industry as co-founder of Lans Brewing Co.
